Twitter Considers Banning President Trump in January After Biden’s Inauguration

After Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20, President Trump will lose his current world-leader-status exemptions from Twitter policies.

According to The Independent’s report, Twitter has confirmed that the president’s personal account could face restrictions or even a ban if he continues posting what Twitter considers “conspiracy theories” after going back to being a private citizen.

This would not be the first time Twitter will censor a popular account if they will impose it on Trump’s account in January. In October during the campaign period, they banned the New York Post after the news outlet refused to take down a post about Hunter Biden’s issue on his foreign business dealings involving his father Joe Biden.

Late in July, Biden tweeted that the Americans won’t have to worry about his tweets if he becomes the president.
