Failed president and former first lady Hillary Clinton is celebrating her birthday on Monday, but surely won’t like the idea of Judge Amy Coney-Barrett being confirmed by the Senate on the same day.
Two Justices have already been confirmed under Donald Trump’s presidency, and Barrett will be his third, which the Democrats, including Mrs. Clinton have been criticizing, saying it is unconstitutional. Unfortunately for the liberals, Senator Mitch McConnell had announced earlier on Tuesday that the voting for Barrett’s confirmation will happen on the 26th of October, which happened to be Hillary Clinton’s birthday.
“We will be voting to confirm Justice-to-be Barrett next Monday and I think that will be another signature accomplishment in our effort to put on the courts, the federal courts, men and women who believe in a quaint notion that the job of a judge is to actually follow the law,” McConnell said on a press conference after the Republicans’ weekly Senate lunch.
On the other hand, Senate minority leader Senator Chuck Schumer stated the Democrats will not “supply quorom” or they would not show up for the voting to block Barrett’s confirmation.
Meanwhile, Republicans mocked Mrs. Clinton when she posted a birthday greeting for Kamala Harris on Twitter, suggesting that Harris will win the vice presidential election on November 3. The tweet reads: “In two weeks, we could call this birthday girl Madam Vice President.”

One user responded and posted a tweet with an image of young Hillary from Mrs. Clinton’s account in 2016 before her presidential race with the-then Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump wishing herself as the future president, ‘happy birthday.’ The user said: “I can’t believe you’re trying to jinx it again!”

Another jokingly predicted Hillary Clinton’s birthday wishes for Harris will end up like her birthday wish for herself in 2016, saying, “We all know How this started and how this ended,” with four laugh emojis, tagging kamala Harris.”
