While talking to the press on Tuesday, “President-Elect” Democrat Joe Biden said that it’s an ’embarrassment’ President Trump has not conceded yet. Biden was ‘declared’ by most news outlets as the winner of the recent November 3 presidential elections, while Trump campaign is currently seeking for ballot recount in some swing states.
When asked by a reporter on his thoughts about President Trump not conceding despite Biden having reached the required electoral votes to win, he responded: “Ahm, I just think it’s an embarrassment, quite frankly.”
“The only thing that, uh, how can I say this tactfully, I think it will not help the president’s legacy,” he added. “At the end of the day, you know, it’s all going to come to fruition on January 20.”
Biden also stated that he has been calling with several foreign leaders, including UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson, French President Emmanuel Macron, Irish Taoiseach Micheál Martin, and German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
“I’m letting them know that America is back. We’re going to be back in the game,” he said, referring to those calls.
