Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s wife, Jill, refused to answer CNN correspondent Jake Tapper’s question on her husband’s occasional gaffes during a one-on-one interview recently in Norfolk, Virginia.

“Your husband has been known to make the occasional gaffes,” Tapper said but Mrs. Biden quickly interrupted him with both hands in the air as if surrendering, saying, “Oh you can’t even go there. After Donald Trump, you cannot even say the word ‘gaffe’,” she said dismissing the news reporter.

The smiling Tapper asked, “I cannot even say the word gaffe?” The former teacher insisted, “Nope. Done. It’s gone.”

The Lead with Jake Tapper’s host again asked, “The gaffe issue is over?” Dr. Jill said, “Over, so over.”

Mrs. Biden also told CNN that her husband is ready to face Trump in the upcoming debate on Tuesday.

“Oh, my gosh, yes, he’s ready,” she said during the dialogue. “You know, one of the things I am excited for is when the American people see Joe Biden up there on that stage, they’re going to see what a president looks like, someone who is, like I’m saying, calm, steady, strong, resilient. It’s like night and day between the two candidates. And so I can’t wait for the American people to see Joe, to see that statesman up there in front of the American public.”

Following the interview, Fox News’ Brian Kilmeade called out Tapper for allowing Mrs. Biden to get away with his question. “I find it pretty amazing she was allowed to get away with that,” he commented.

But for the liberals, Mrs. Biden did great, with one Twitter user saying, she owned Tapper.

The clip has been shared many times on Twitter, with the conservatives lambasting both Tapper and Jill Biden.

One user said, Jill knows her husband has a serious medical issues and sacrificed him to get in the White House.

Another user commented “she’s evil.”

One called out Jake Tapper, saying, he should have challenged her but didn’t.
