During a Thursday press conference, Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani and others in the room cracked up when they learned that one reporter who asked a “sarcastic” question works for CNN, a biased, Trump hater news outlet.
Giuliani took a question from a reporter who asked: “Sir, is it your goal to pressure officials or lawmakers in these battleground states to block or delay certifications so the GOP can pick their own electors? Is that the end theme here?”
Giuliani laughed while staring at the journalist and said, “Our goal here is to go around the iron curtain of censorship … that … What publication are you with?” Giuliani paused what he was about to say and asked.
“CNN,” the reporter responded.
That was when Giuliani and the other lawyers behind him in the room burst into laughter.
“… is to go around the outrageous iron curtain of censorship and give facts to the American people … that if you are a fair and honest network, you would have been reporting for the last two weeks,” he continued after laughing.
“These are facts. These are things that actually happened. These people really wrote these affidavits. These affidavits are really part of the public record. You’re concealing them, you’re covering them up, and our role here is to do your job because you don’t do it!”
